Monday it is! Fortunate that things are working out so soon. Feel free to call at any point during the day. I'm leaving stupid early and won't be gettin in 'til crazy late at night, so phone calls will be necessary, useful and appreciated lol.

Oh oh oh ALSO. A cool idea I had: Since it's a long trip, if anyone wants to/could make me a CD mixtape of dopeness, I think that'd be the illest thing ever. Cool way to help time pass by; hear some classic music or maybe find out about new artists/songs. If you can, hook me up! That's it for now. Talk with you soon!

Where We Stand

I wish I could put more up. The move is taking up a lot of time. Once I reach point B, I will do my best to get some good music/news up as soon/often as possible.

On the day of the move, I will be driving solo for 15 hours. Don't ask why, but this was my choice, haha. Some kind of symbolic start to a new chapter. Who knows. Regardless, I'll put up here the day that I will definitely be moving. It keeps changing. The only guarantee is that I'll be gone before February.

The day I do finally leave, if you have my number, feel free to call me up. Remember, 15 hrs solo. I ain't goin anywhere. This may be the one time I enjoy being on the phone for long periods of time, lol. If you don't have my number and wanna shoot me a call, msg me or contact one of my friends that do have it. It'd be good to hear from you!

What's goin on y'all! Aight, so if you're with me on Facebook/Twitter (@_StephenSpencer)you've probably seen some of these already; but maybe not all of'm. I recently had the opportunity to work with Jersey based rapper, J Star. He's a good friend of the person who got me into music. It took forever and a week, but we finally were able to get the time to collaborate on some solid Hip-Hop! I started on an instrumental that turned into the following:

Soon after recording the song and releasing the this video, The FAM Records/ J Star camp followed up with this promotional video, to get the energy buzzing for the single. They did their thing!

Now with all that being said, here is the finished product! Recorded, Mixed, and best of all? AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD! Much respect to J Star and his whole family/team over there. The Other Side

In hindsight, the title of this song is kind of ironic. I'm always releasing music that I make, producingly (yeah I make my own words up. Don't judge me). This is the first time I'm showing y'all a finished product from the other side (riiight?), the songwriter side of things!

Super excited for a bunch of reasons- new opportunities, new music made, new lyrics written, mad stuff. I wanted to show you guys how I write. Reading the lyrics is one thing. But to actually hear it, finished... gives solid understanding of how the writer wanted it portrayed.
